Spaghetti Bolognese Recipe
Cook the spaghetti al dente, and let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 30-45 minutes.
Ingredients (for 4 servings):
400 g spaghetti, 500 g ground beef, 1 onion, finely chopped, 1 garlic clove, finely chopped, 2 carrots, diced, 1 celery stalk, diced, 800 g passata (or canned tomatoes), 2 tablespoons tomato paste, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, 1 teaspoon dried basil, 1 bay leaf, 100 ml red wine (optional), 1 teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon pepper, olive oil for frying, Parmesan for serving.
