For me, love is a theme that has inspired poets, philosophers, and everyday people alike for as long as we can remember. But what is the true essence of love to me? I believe Antoine de Saint-Exupéry nails it perfectly when he says in The Little Prince: “Love does not consist in gazing at each other, but in looking outward together in the same direction.”
It may sound simple, but to me, there is so much more behind it. Love is not just about romance, feelings, or physical attraction. It’s about a deeper connection that goes far beyond these superficial aspects.
What does it mean to “look outward together in the same direction”?
