Investigations by authorities revealed that the explosion was caused by fireworks and/or explosives placed in the bed of the rented Cybertruck. The vehicle had been rented through the car-sharing service Turo, according to CNN US. Tragically, it turned out that the driver had taken their own life shortly before the explosion.
